My Mom & Dad House is For Sale!

Wow! My Mom & Dad's House is on the market and it make me feel awful! I think the people that purchased it did not make the payments and it has been sitting empty for awhile. They made alot of changes, some good and some really bad ones. I would love to go inside and see if the bunk beds my dad built us are still there. It is really sad because it was a great house. It is very small and all 6 of us lived in it!

Katie Got her Birthday Present Alittle Early

Yesterday Katelyn received her birthday present early. We just happened to run across a guinea pig with a loving and sweet personality. We had been thinking about getting her one and this one just fit the spot. This picture is right after we came and he or she is very exhausted from all the excitement. Normally the eyes are wide and very playful. Katelyn has yet to pick out a name until we fiqure out what sex we have. To say the least, Katelyn was overjoyed. As for Liberty, our dog, we are still trying to work with her and her manners.

Grandma's Spider Plant

I wonder how old plants can be. This is a picture of a spider plant that came from a start from my mom's spider plant, that came from a start from her mother's, (my grandmother Kunkleman),spider plant. That means this plant is very old. It has had its ups and downs. When I was working it did not get watered very often. Then there were the times when it was in a window that did not have enough sunlight. Then it had a window with too much sunlight and it got dried up and turned a pale green. I would say that this is the best it has ever looked. It has lots of babies right now. I could start more plants with these many babies that are coming off in all directions. The plant stand was purchased at a auction by my parents. I was old, nasty and beat up. My father repaired it, and refinshed. He brought it back to a beatiful piece of funiture.

Simon's Cat 'Let Me In!'

Girl Scout Pirate & Princess Dance

Last night was the annual girl scout dance. This year Katelyn was very excited because her cousin, Ava is also a girl scout. This year's theme for the dance was pirate and princess. That meant the two could be princesses together!! Not just for dress up. Their dad's also got to be pirates. Jim and Brian made great pirates for their daughter's. Check out the pictures below!!

Girl Scouts go to Wyze Gurlz

Katie's girl scout troop spent some time having a spa treatment at the new Wyze Gurlz salon. They received facials, had their nails done, got lotion on their arms and legs and received new hair styles. They even got to keep their robes and flip flops!

I have closed my web site

I have emailed a few people and explained that I have decided to close my website and post my jewelry on this blog. I will start adding pictures gradually, so at the bottom of each page you will need to go to older posts to see some of the other pages once I get going. Today I have posted a couple of pictures to get started. This is a easier way to post pictures than the website, so hopefully I can add things faster than I was the website. If you have any questions just email me or leave a comment.

Les Deux Soeurs

To my friends and family, if you have not seen this on my web site then you are seeing it now. This is a picture of a shop in Mishawaka that is owned by a dear friend of Jim's. If you have not stopped in here yet than you need to go. She has some lovely items for gifts and if it is close to lunch time she serves a daily lunch special. Ask for Carolyn and tell her Jim and Leslie sent you!

Famous ND Bracelet

No one has to tell you what the ND stands for! This bracelet was made with my favorite football team colors in mind. The color of the clasp holds a close resemblance to the golden dome itself. Just like my other bracelets it sells for $15. Add a watch for $5 and make it $20. Very classssssy!!!! Gold is coming back ladies.

Black Crystal Bracelet With Round Metal Sliders

This is typical of what most of my bracelets will look like. The sliders will come in various shapes and colors according to what you like. This particular bracelet is very elegant and can be worn with almost anything. I have heard women say that it looks too dressy too wear with something casual, but it can really dress up a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt. Every person that I have made this bracelet for has came back to me and said they have had lots of compliments. This bracelet sells for $15. For $5 I can add a watch to it and it serves a dual function. Ask me what other colors I can make this in. Also don't forget about matching earrings!

Cobalt Blue Lampwork Bracelet

This is a lampwork bracelet that I have strung using lampwork beads purchased from a artist that molds his own beads from melted glass and then fires it in a kiln. I have added Swarovski crystals to this bracelet and some celestial crystals. I have also used some silver accents and a silver rope toggle as a closure. $40
